Anitha Raja Arunachalam

I completed my post-graduation diploma in Information Communication Technology after doing my bachelor's degree in computer science. My interest in Information Technology started when I was in grade 5, where we were asked to do an assignment on any industry that has great potential in the future. I chose Information Technology and I have been fond of it ever since. My goal of becoming a software engineer motivated me to learn it with passion. I graduated with 8.89%, first class with distinction in my undergraduate program- Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering. Then I came to Canada to do my post-graduation in Information Communication technology for small businesses, where I learned many complex courses that boosted my knowledge to a great extent. I graduated with a 4/4 GPA with honor roll. Before coming to Canada to pursue my Post graduation diploma, I worked as an intern at Sidssol Technologies, Bangalore, India, where I developed ways to handle big data associated with a large number of companies. During the final year of undergraduate studies, I worked in developing a product called “SAMRT SOIL TESTER” which was developed to help farmers in analyzing and understanding the soil types that would help them in deciding to plant which crop in that particular season to get the maximum yield. Our product is also aimed at providing solutions to farmers in monitoring weather conditions. We aimed at making our product available and useful not only to farmers but also to companies that mainly depend on plants for their product. I developed a mobile application called Smart Soil Tester for the above-mentioned process.
