Cameron Shahrooz

I am a 3rd year student at The Ohio State University studying Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Business under the Integrated Business and Engineering (IBE) Honors Program. Outside of class, I dedicate my time to the Ohio Union Activities Board (OUAB) where I serve as the Director of Concerts for the Executive Board. As the Director of Concerts, I lead a committee of 12 other students to brainstorm and plan large-scale concert events for the Ohio State community. The events I have executed so far include the 2021 Welcome Back Concert featuring Waka Flocka Flame and MAX and the OUAB Fall Fest featuring student performers. In terms of work experience, I have worked as a camp counselor at YMCA Camp Ernst in Burlington, Kentucky for the past 5 summers. I am excited to bring my strong leadership and analytical skills combined with my detail-oriented personality to a Mechanical Engineering position for summer 2022.
