To scale an organization you need people, processes, and technology. Getting the right combination is extremely challenging. This is what I am good at, building a high-performing engineering team. list of my career highlights: - Led a complete IoT product development cycle from ideation, prototype to commercial deployment at E-SMART - Led a complete makeover of EIC sales system powering the work or more than 2000 sales staff across the world. - At Nucloud, I set up a remote development team in the Philippines and establish effective work framework. - As CTO of New pathway, I led the development of our e-learning platform (www.prepsmtih.com) which became a major asset in the acquisition of the company. In my career, I have led and released many successful complicated projects. However, what I am more proud of is having mentored and grown the careers of many engineers/QA/designers over the years. I am also a core team organizer of Techyizu. We are a volunteered based organization supported by sponsors that put together events to facilitate the development of the technology community in Shanghai. We have organized events such as: - Fail Faster, 2-day workshop on customer development and Lean Startup - Designing Shanghai, 1-day human-centered design workshop - Open Data Shanghai, 24-hour data hackathon - Barcamp, Shanghai largest un-conference. I also co-founded Urbantigers, one of Shanghai largest running communities. Our aim is to make running accessible to everyone and to help our members to transition to long distance running.
