I have a background in Biomedical Engineering from Southeast University in Nanjing, I then moved to Imperial College London to study Bioimaging sciences (MRes), particularly in quantification of Positron Emission Tomography (PET). I received European 7th Framework (FP7) international studentship to pursue a PhD in quantification of C-11 labelled verapamil in epilepsy patients at the Wolfson Molecular Imaging Centre, the University of Manchester. After finishing my PhD in medical physics (2011), I received a Roche postdoc fellowship jointly supported by Hoffmann-La Roche and VU University Medical Center Amsterdam. I have investigated pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) of radiolabelled monoclonal antibodies from Roche in both preclinical and clinical settings.
I joined Grunenthal GmbH in 2013 as a pharmacometrician, responsible for providing pharmacometric contribution to various trials and projects, in particular for the clinical development of Cebranopadol in various pain indications. I joined Merck KGaA in April 2016 as a senior scientist.
In Feb 2018 I joined Boehringer Ingelheim as a strategic senior pharmacometrician supporting various aspects of clinical development of BI's oncology portfolio. I was promoted to Teamleader Pharmacometrics at BI's headquarter in Ingelheim to build and lead a team of pharmacometricians with a particular focus on supporting BI's oncology/immuno-oncology pipelines.
In Dec 2021, I joined BI's Human Pharma Medicine organization in Shanghai as Director of Pharmacometrics to enhance short-term TMCP support for local Chinese activities and to develop mid- to long-term TMCP strategies for China.
