Thijs Dieltjens's Summary
I am the CTO of the online machine rental platform Bullswap. I lead the IT department and am responsible for planning, CICD, integrations and backend development.
Background: I graduated in Engineering Computer Science with a strong focus on AI.
I had the opportunity to join the IT Leadership Development Program of Johnson & Johnson. In the first of two rotations I set up an automated data reporting pipeline using Hadoop. The second allowed me to become an iOS expert while experimenting with emerging tech PoCs and gaining experience on some legacy applications.
In June 2018 I became part of the J&J IT Solutions Architecture team where I helped business and internal technology partners in designing IT infrastructure and software to support the optimal use of their data and applications.
After nearly 3 years with JnJ I decided to join the startup Bullswap to become responsible for the backend, the build and delivery pipeline as well as future endeavours in IoT and AI. After a year I stepped up and became CTO, leading all IT efforts.
