I started off at Magnum in 2013 as an IT professional and now have over 30 years of experience in the IT field. After a year at Magnum as the Director of IT, a new challenge was accepted to also be the Director of Fleet Maintenance. The IT Team and Maintenance teams I work with have been instrumental in recreating the IT and Maintenance cultures. The IT team has successfully implemented new systems, new servers, and new infrastructure that have introduced system stability and new technologies that are helping the entire Magnum team grow the company. The Maintenance team created a new Maintenance identity at Magnum that showed we were there to keep all of our equipment in the safest and best working order possible. This dedication by the team suddenly had buy in from drivers and everyone at Magnum. We maintain an EXCELLENT CSA score (a federal “grade” of your company maintenance program) that helps bring on new drivers and keep existing ones. Running two departments shows the ability to be a Successful Project Manager with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, and the ability to adapt to any environment. History includes manufacturing, metal stamping, health insurance, banking and transportation. IT Technical Skills include Windows Server 2019, 2016, 2012 R2, 2012, Windows 10, Windows 7, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Terminal Server, Exchange. VMware vSphere, NetApp SAN, Ubiquity Switches, and WatchGuard Firewalls. Management skills include contract implementation and maintenance, personnel management and growth, and a goal to continuously improve the teams I manage, and the image we present. The responsibilities we share help drive Magnum to new levels of growth, security, and reliability.
