Previously I was the Head of Corporate Finance for HSBC and NatWest Australian subsidiaries, Shaw Corporate Finance and Johnson Taylor Potter/Bell Potter. I also have experience providing consulting services to groups including Bunnings, Leighton Holdings, and Wesfarmers Ltd including assisting Wesfarmers change from a Cooperative to an ASX listed company, numerous capital initiatives, and acquiring Bunnings. Finally, I have lectured in Master of Finance subjects for Macquarie University, have a Master of Business Administration from The University of Melbourne, and also qualified as a Member of the Australian Stock Exchange, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and Fellow of The Securities Institute of Australia (now FINSIA) where I also lectured in their post graduate Diploma program for ten years.
