As a co-founder of GreenBasket, designed a platform that simplifies farmers' market management, ensuring it meets the needs of both farmers and market managers. My role as a UX Designer and Researcher at Miller Lab (Indiana University) involves conducting user research for wearable healthcare devices, to help design solutions that support pediatric oncology caregivers. I thrive in collaborative environments, turning user insights into seamless interfaces that deliver measurable results. 🍀What I bring to the table: ▪️ Passion for Growth: Participating in various design competitions over the past two years has fueled my drive to learn and innovate. Embracing these challenges helps me stay current with industry trends, learn from my peers and continuously refine my skills. ▪️ Versatile Skill Set: Comfortable with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch. I enjoy bringing ideas to life through high-fidelity prototypes and visual design with Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. My background in architecture adds depth to my skills with 3D modeling software like Rhino, Grasshopper and AutoCAD Architecture. ▪️ Transferable Skills or Design Insights: My experience in architecture gives me a unique perspective, helping me design intuitive interfaces that balance aesthetics and functionality. (oh yes, and this also means that I like to sketch my ideas and wireframes with pen and paper before I look at a screen while designing) ▪️ Effective Communicator: As a TEDx Speaker, I value conveying complex ideas clearly and empathetically, which helps in collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders. ▪️ Collaborative Spirit: I thrive in collaborative environments, when working with designers, engineers, and product managers to turn ideas into meaningful solutions.
