I am an honors student at The Ohio State University majoring in Communications. I am a member of The Office of Diversity and Inclusions Morrill Scholars, and recipient of the Morrill Scholars Prominence Scholarship. I am the Director of Activities and Social Media Assistant for the Zeta Tau Alpha, Alpha Zeta Chapter at Ohio State University. For two years I participated in a fellowship for the YOLA National Institute with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, where as a cohort we collaborated on community outreach and providing advancement through music. I helped organize and prepare presentations for the YOLA National Symposium, participated in student panels, and conducted an interview with the Vice President of Learning with the LA Phil. Currently I work as communications and marketing assistant for the Ohio State University department of Human Resources. In this role I work on and manage social media accounts, schedule content, track trends, and implement and measure social media strategy. I develop communications plans by analyzing and organizing data metrics through excel and Microsoft channels. I write content for various channels such as LinkedIn, emails, feature stories, the university website, newsletters, and blogs all while maintaining HR branding. I also create and facilitate graphics using Adobe Illustrator and Canva.
