Campaigner for a cause. Disclamer: What you see here is just a half of my professional life. Let's get a coffee to talk more. Hasna has studied Informatics Engineering at University of Gunadarma. Her passion on information technology and social issue brought her to co-founded Smoke-Free Agents (SFA), the youth tobacco control organization. Her responsibility was to develop and implement the programs with a new concept of de-normalizing tobacco as well as preventing non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in Indonesia. By creating creative campaigns to advocate the policy makers and public, Hasna has engaged and mobilized the youth volunteers to speak up and take action to the street and digital advocacy efforts. The movement has been recognized to the global network. In expanding her humanitarian journey, Hasna is currently working at IFRC as Community Engagement and Accountability (CEA) Senior Officer at International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). She joined IFRC in the early phase of the Tsunami and Earthquake operations in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia in 2018. For 16 months, her role was providing technical CEA support to Indonesian Red Cross to ensure CEA components were integrated in the disaster response, during emergency to recovery phase. Currently, she is based on Jakarta with IFRC Country Cluster Office and supports Indonesian and Timor-Leste red cross in various operations and programs. Hasna has been working as a public health campaigner for law enforcement in Indonesia since 2013 , raising people’s awareness on health issues and advocating to listen to community’s voices.
