Since January 2020 I have been leading the team behind the Best Practice Show(s) attracting over 4,500 HCPs from across general practice, with 270 exhibiting brands making it the UK’s largest trade exhibition for general practice. In 2023 this achieved a remarkable 33% increase in unique visitors year on year with a high rise in senior audience from PCNs and ICB teams alike. Best Practice London launched in March 2023 was a huge success, which now also co-hosts Women’s Health Professional Care as it launches in 2024. Best Practice Show 2021 was shortlisted and then WON the Best Trade Show under 2000m award at Exhibition News Awards. We were shortlisted for the Best Trade Show under 2000m award at Association of Exhibition Organisers Awards 2021 as well. Implementing several new ideas to grow and re-position the event more appropriately for our industry. Due to the pandemic Best Practice 2020 was postponed until 2021, however we launched a virtual show called Best Practice Live that attracted nearly 3,000 HCPs during an eight week marketing campaign. We hosted over 80 sessions and over 35 exhibitors. In 2019, I launched Respiratory Professional Care which is a new event for the entire respiratory community to meet, learn, network, gain CPD, enhance skills, share best and change practice, and plan for the future. Longest standing employee of CloserStill Media, having launched the Aesthetic Dentist in 2007 - now grown and expanded into The Dentistry Show (and now partnered with the BDA conference too). Moved onto the London Vet Show in 2013, helping it maintain its growth and its move from Olympia to ExCeL. Pleased to have been part of a great team that was rewarded with Best Trade Show in 2015 and 2017 at the Exhibition News Awards. For the third time in its short history, the London Vet Show has been named Best Trade Show (2000-8000 sqm) at the 2019's Association of Event Organisers Excellence Awards.
