Over the last 30+ years, I have worked on all facets of managing projects and developing processes related to the construction industry; but my passion and biggest achievements have always been in project controls and management. I used to wonder what the best way was to store and keep all the documents needed for large construction jobs in one easy to find place. While I was working at FXWB, the idea of PlansandSpecs was born. Over the years, PlansandSpecs grew to be its own company and introduced the paperless workflow that has now evolved into PlansandSpecs, BidVue, and BIMfx (which is patent pending). The StratusVue System, as we like to call it, makes it possible for construction companies to manage project information from the design phase, through construction, and into building operations. Since I’ve been working on this one idea, we have managed more than 41,000 projects in the cloud from over 65 countries. We are always looking for strategic partners, and of course, customers.
