Joseph Vance Architects is an award-winning firm founded in 1991 that specializes in custom, high-end townhouse and brownstone renovations in New York City. Projects also include landmark restorations, apartment and loft renovations, rooftop additions, and new ground-up townhouses. Our firm designs spaces that are well balanced and executed with a sense of sophistication and rarefied attention to detail- known for a refined combination of modernism's clean lines with an emphasis on warm materials, natural light and livability. One of the distinguishing factors of our firm is that all projects are executed in 3D software from concept through completion. Clients have a unique experience where the design is altered and evolved in the 3D model during design meetings, allowing them to be more intimately involved in the process of designing their home.
