With over 21 years of experience in public health operations, I am a goal-driven, strategic, and highly accomplished professional who specializes in health information management, emergency planning, and crisis management. As an Outreach, Evaluation, and Exercise Liaison at the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services (MDHHS), I apply my leadership and communication skills to assist with the daily operations of the section, develop emergency risk communication materials, and facilitate training on public health topics. I am also recognized for my expertise in developing and evaluating exercises for statewide partners to assess and improve the state's pandemic influenza preparedness. I have authored and co-authored multiple publications, peer-reviewed articles, and presentations on public health issues, including a study on the outrage levels of Iraqi immigrants towards different hazards in Michigan.
