As a former teacher, I take pride in my ability to connect with people on a personal level. Being an educator allowed me to thrive in a client-facing role and empathetically serve individuals with unique needs and skill sets. However, I ultimately chose to pivot from education and take reign of my creativity outside of the classroom for the same reason I entered it. In 2018, I created A Linderella Story, a blog dedicated to sharing the stories of how local small businesses came into existence. Doing so required me to step out of my comfort zone in order to conduct interviews with entrepreneurs, effectively transforming their life stories into long-form blog articles. But, the pivot did not end there. After nearly two years of creating co-branded content and learning how to efficiently utilize SEO and marketing strategies, I turned my side-hustle into a profitable business. World, meet xo, Lindy: a content writing studio based in Brooklyn, NY. By writing effective copy and content for clients, I develop unique digital strategies to increase brand awareness across multiple platforms. Think: thoughtfully curated words for your business, home, and life. In early 2022, I was presented with an opportunity to take my talents to the next level and in July 2022, I began my next chapter as Content Strategist for Overpass, a SaaS company and remote sales rep marketplace that offers an all-in-one platform for companies to hire remote sales reps in days, not weeks. I'm thrilled to write this next chapter and hope to connect with you a long the way! Cheers!
