Marietta's Summary

I was born in Germany, grew up in Florida and Virginia, and attended school in Raleigh, NC (NC State) because I thought I wanted to be a Horse Veterinarian. Yes, I was the horse-crazy girl in your elementary, middle, and high school. Despite being of very modest means, I was blessed with parents who found ways to fund my passion (which included a lot of mucking stalls for me). I started riding at five and owned my first horse at 8. When I wasn’t riding, I was reading (mostly about horses, but also murder mysteries), doing 5000-piece puzzles, and dreaming about traveling the world riding horses. Today, I own Evolu and am the founder of the Leader Evolution Lab™, the Evolu Equine™ program, and the Career Evolution Lab®. My passion is developing leaders at all levels in organizations. To say I love what I do is an understatement! Combining my two passions - horses and developing leaders, personally and professionally - it does not get any better than this (at least for me). Besides my passion for horses, I have a passion for this country and supporting veterans and those who serve today. Being raised in a military family and having a son who serves now, I am aware of the sacrifices everyone makes when loved ones are so far away. I take great pride in my parents' burial at Arlington National Cemetery, and work with local veteran organizations like the John’s Creek Veterans Association and the 11th Hour Squadron, which serves as an extension of a veteran’s family during the final stages of life. We must do a better job of caring for those who fought for our freedoms. I love working with growth-minded, servant leaders who value their employees for what they bring to the organization and want to see them develop both personally and professionally. I strive to bring a range of development opportunities to organizations and individuals to help their teams excel.
