In 2020 when the pandemic hit, my real estate clients were left wondering how they would furnish their homes. When the entire world shut down, there were no stores to visit, furniture shipments were taking a year to arrive, and many layoffs were preventing people from investing in expensive items. With several renovations under my belt and experience in styling and staging, I'd always had a love for decorating and was quite handy. I had redone some of my family's pieces before, so I offered to start refinishing pieces my clients already had, helping them to style and stage their own homes. Thus began a business that I run today- ReFind Design. We take old and vintage items, worn from everyday use, and lovingly restore and refinish them so you can rediscover or "ReFind" their beauty again, and enjoy them for another 50 years. *************************************************************************************************************** In my past life before kids, I was a driven consumer publicist, working on various clients in the lifestyle arena for over 13+ years. I organized major events, as well as placed brands such as Nestlé, Georges Duboeuf and Riedel Crystal in top tier media, helping my clients gain national recognition and achieve their sales goals. Additionally, I have experience in celebrity partnerships and contract negotiations. I've appeared as the Imbiber’s Publicist of the Week, and as a spokesperson on multiple programs including ABC Eyewitness News New York, NBC New York Evening News and Better TV.  I hold a BA in Communications from the University of Hartford, where I won creative writing awards, competed on the National Advertising Competition team as a copywriter, and was in the school’s Communications Honor Society and Alpha Xi Delta Sorority.
