Ever since I was a child, construction has been my passion. I still remember sitting in the backyard and making mud pots and houses. I had difficulty in making certain shapes and I was curious how the great structures such as pyramids and Roman buildings were made. This curiosity led me to civil engineering. During my graduation, I developed an interest in construction estimation. I remember the days when I spend the whole week in making the estimate of our existing hostel building. It had many mistakes but it was the start of my career in estimation. In that summer I had an internship as an estimation engineer in the orange line train project. It was a mega project and it gave me great exposure to sharp my estimation skills. The team head on that project was working with a US-based Estimation Company. He introduced me to the US estimation and it was like magic. I fell in love with the estimation process of the USA because of its advanced estimation and pricing methods. Having this passion I started my professional career in the USA based Estimation Company. During my tenure there as an estimation engineer, I developed proficiency in takeoff software such as Planswift and cost databases such as RS Means. I have developed unit cost estimates for contractor bids & sub bids. I have worked with developers, owners, architects, general contractors, and subcontractors on the behalf of my company. Till now I have done 750+ projects in the USA alone ranging from residential to commercial and high-rise skyscrapers. This much experience has given me the confidence to work remotely with USA based estimation companies
