I did master degree in Civil Geotechnical Engineering and have a versatile experience of over 20 years in the field of geotehnics as Professional Engineer. I worked on extensive scale projects (onshore and near-shore) in several countries, such as, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Oman, United Arab Emirates and Pakistan related to geotechnical design of foundations. My area of practice is subdivisional geotechnics and mainly covers infrastructure, oil and gas and industrial projects. I prepared several design reports for multistorey buildings, dams, power plants, substations, oil/gas associated structures, bridges and road works, marine quay walls, jetties, break water structures, berths. I have specialty knowledge in slope stability and seepage analyses of embankment dams and landslides studies. I have sound knowledge of factual and interpretative reports which include mainly evaluation of geotechnical parameters, bearing capacities for shallow foundations, settlement evaluation, pile design, foundation analysis and optimization by using finite element analysis software, interference effect of foundation, static and dynamic properties for foundations, excavation support system, anchorage design and liquefaction potential studies. I worked on several geo-consulting projects for oil and gas installations, industrial developments, slope stability and seepage studies of embankment dams and design of remedial measures for landslides/cut faces for road construction. As part of project management, I exclusively involved in carrying out planning and management of drilling sites, preparation of method statements, HSE project risk assessments, client coordination/communications and contract specification reviews.
