Hj. Paramita Mentari Kesuma, B.Comm, SE, MM has almost 20 years professional and organizational experiences in strategic program management, multi-stakeholders engagement, sustainable development issues across private sector, NGO and Government agencies. Mentari currently acts as the Sustainable Landscape Programme Indonesia (SLPI) Officer at UNDP. Prior to that, she worked as the Indonesia Lead Consultant for Indufor North America LLC, Program Lead of Entrepreneurship Task Force for the Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Indonesia), Indonesia Community Lead at Fortescue Future Industries (Australian company), Executive Director of the Sustainable Coffee Platform of Indonesia (SCOPI), Executive Assistant to the Chief of the Peatland Restoration Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (UNOPS / UNDP / CLUA secondment)- a non-structural agency reported directly to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, WWF-Indonesia, & Deloitte Indonesia. Mentari currently serves as the Head of Sustainability & Environment, Social and Governance of Badan Otonom Womenpreneur BPP HIPMI/Indonesia Young Entrepreneurs Association (2023-2025). She is also a mentor for Singapore-based WOMAG (Woman in Agriculture). She won the “Miss Indonesia Earth- Water 2008” title, the “None Favorite Jakarta Kepulauan Seribu 2005” title, and was a freelance host of an ecotourism show “Jejak Petualang” at Trans7 TV (2007). Mentari had a Master of Management in Applied Finance (BINUS Business School, Jakarta), a double-degree on Bachelor of Commerce & Bachelor of Economics (Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Australia & BINUS International University, Jakarta). Also, had completed short-courses from University of Pennsylvania, Duke University, University of California - Irvine, Drexel University and ADB Institute. She received full-scholarship from the Singapore International Foundation and Methodist Girls' Secondary School in Singapore. She had been awarded the BINUS Leadership Excellence Award 2011 from BINUS University, a LEAD Foundation Fellow on Green Economy in 2010, the Vice President of the BINUS University Student Committee and the Social Secretary of the Junior Common Room Committee of the Nanyang Girls' Boarding School Singapore. This mom of two enjoys adventure in nature, traveling, writing, yoga, scubadiving, painting & photography. Her first motivational & spiritual reflections book titled "Menyingkap Cahaya Mentari" was published in 2014.
