My role ensures these companies are accountable and transparent to all their stakeholders. Through this work, I am honored to be part of a significant systemic transformation—from a form of capitalism driven by overproduction and overconsumption, where companies are evaluated solely by financial metrics, to a world where sustainable actions and metrics are also valued. Together, we are moving towards a future where companies and their stakeholders can thrive in the long term. 📚Volunteer Work - I am a member of an NPO that provides free "Terakoya" for children (a traditional public educational institution in Japan). Here, I teach elementary school students various subjects like math, Japanese, and English. I am always inspired by children’s creativity and volunteer members’ diversity when volunteering. Through volunteering, I hope I could contribute to narrowing the gap between the children who afford the expensive and high-quality education and who don’t. - I also have experience of volunteer to teach Japanese to children of non-native speakers, using my knowledge of both English and Chinese. 🎷🧘Hobbies - I have been playing the saxophone for over 15 years, starting in 2006 (wow, so long!). Currently, I am a member of an amateur wind orchestra. We perform at an annual concert and sometimes give free performances at elementary schools for the children. - I have been practicing yoga for almost 8 years since 2016, which helps me stay both mentally and physically healthy.
