I am an experienced and well-respected aviation professional for over 30 years. As a Company Founder and CEO for over 20 years, my goals have included successful start-ups, managing businesses at all levels, together with their ongoing development. Entering aviation at 17, I joined Air 2000 gaining valuable experience in airline ground operations before progressing to commercial aircraft charters and ACMI leasing with Air London (now Air Partner). In 2003, I established my first business www.arvinaviation.com, providing Baggage Tracing and Delivery, Ground Operations / Airport Management for operators such as Emirates, KLM, Air France, Swissport, Aer Lingus, Brussels Airlines, Maleth Aero, Jordan Aviation & Air Transat. I was recently part of the Leadership Team for UK Long Haul start up Hans Airways. In 2010 I was appointed as part of the senior start-up team for Cello Aviation. I established and led the airline commercially. I secured high-value charter business within the sports, music, automotive & government sectors. Having identified further opportunities, I successfully established Cello in the ACMI market, attaining contracts with BA Citiflyer, TUI, Monarch, Flybe, and Air France (HOP). Most notable was my lead role in securing and flying HM Queen on her historic state visit to Ireland in 2011. I continue to employ my skill set on a consultancy and advisory basis. I have been contracted to a number of airlines for specialist project work. I am currently leading a new niche and bespoke UK regional jet ACMI and 'on demand' charter airline which is currently securing funding. My current group of businesses offer Station Management, Flight Supervision and UK Operational support to airlines as well as flight supervision to a number of aircraft brokers, tour operators, plus a VIP Meet & Greet Concierge business under the VIP-FLY brand (see www.vip-fly.com). I am an occasional small start-up investor and coach. I have invested and given guidance plus support to start-up companies such as www.bagsahead.com and www.posh-chick.com. The latter street food outlet remains in the group.
